"Children are a gift, for sure, though they are not a gift from above. They are a gift from hell."
S O L

Even as a young hatchling, Sol had always been gripped by a burning desire to discover the various histories and mythologies of Sornieth. He would often spend his afternoons in the library, reading each and every tome his clan had to offer, and then pestering the librarian for new arrivals. His studious nature eventually landed him a place as an apprentice Historian in the Sonnebene University. Sol was a true natural at this task, garnering the attention of quite a few academics who proved to be quite unfortunate partners. It was not long before he had three restraining orders, as well as a gaggle of children he now had to care for. He took a brief break from his studies to take care of his six children, as he was well aware that their mothers could not care less for the hatchlings. The many nights spent lying awake with crying children weighed down on the poor Wildclaw, and he began to look for help in raising them. Eventually, he met Euna, a petite Coatl who found his situation humorous and offered to lend a claw.

As the six children grew, Sol and Euna began to grow closer as friends. By the time the children grew up and went their own ways, Sol and Euna had become the best of friends. When he went back to his studies full time he kept up contact with his friend, eventually becoming housemates with the Coatl. It was around early Floresta when he told Euna that he needed her to look after the house while he went on an expedition to the Radium Highlands. It was on this expedition that Sol met his adoptive daughter, Lichta. She was a small, malnourished mirror who quite obviously grew up removed from civilization, if her biting and growling were anything to go by. Worried for the small child, Sol took her back home to receive medical care and therapy. It was at this moment that Sol realized that he now had another child. He took her home, and explained the situation to Euna, who laughed in his face but agreed to help raise the child. To this day, dragons still believe that he and Euna are mates.

-Born in Northern Mirare
-His favorite thing to do growing up was read, which often led to him getting bullied by the other wildclaw children
-Despite his hatred of fighting, he was trained to be at least capable of defending himself.
-When he was a teenager, he fell in love with another wildclaw who wanted information about his clan’s training methods.
-He thought this relationship was two-sided, but once the other dragon received the information she needed she left in the dark of the night. This broke Sol’s heart, and also led to him getting banished from his former clan.
-He wandered Sornieth for 8 decades alone, searching for a purpose in life. During this time, he had an affair with a warrior in an effort to fill the void in his heart.
-Eventually, he stumbled upon a beautiful city located in the heart of the Mirrorlight Promenade.
-He stayed in this place for 30 years as a writer, and in this time he fell for a kind healer who he thought actually loved him this time.
-Unbeknownst to Sol, this supposed healer was actually in alliance with the local Maren School and was planning to overthrow the city.
-During the siege of Sonnebene, he was nearly killed by a large group of Maren who had dragged him into the river.
-He asked his partner to help him, but she turned away, leaving him to die of blood loss.
-Eventually he passed out, and was dragged to safety by Orphe.
-When he awoke, he was severely depressed and only spoke to Orphe due to him saving his life. Orphe, being a traveling ambassador of the Royal Fawn Family, ended up convincing him to join him in his duties.
-The two of them end up in [pending] as ambassadors to the Court of the Hewn Ones.
