Description:
Florabrisa's top reporter. Known for his booming voice, he works tirelessly to get the latest scoops out to the clan every Sunday morning. He also happens to be Florabrisa's uncontested pie-eating contest champion!

His husband is Marglobe who is always happy to give him his freshest tomatoes.

Older half-brother of Deslonde, and son of Pitohui and Tamarind. He grew up with his mom in the Tangled Wood, never knowing Tamarind until his family moved back to Wind. He has a rather estranged relationship with Tamarind, and is very sympathetic toward his cross-sibling Clash who he met at a difficult time in their lives, with Clash's mother Zaffre divorcing Tamarind at the time. Still feeling a bit awkward around Tamarind, Cinnyris tends to see a father figure in fellow newsdragon Kyurem, who is also Clash's parent.

Cinnyris works with Kyurem to put out the weekly paper, the Florabrisa Local Report (FLR, pronounced 'flower' of course). Cinnyris likes to interview new dragons in the lair, and writes reports to keep the community informed of what things are happening that week - from egg announcements to marriages, concerts, art shows and theatre productions, community project, special visitors arriving, and anything the residents of Florabrisa might need or want to know ahead of time. Cinnyris also gathers information to write articles about general happenings in the Windswept Plateau and the rest of Sornieth, to ensure dragons in Florabrisa won't be ignorant about the world.


Favorites:
Cinnyris is a history buff who loves researching stories and finding new information. His favorite part of the process is talking with other dragons or beastclans to learn their takes and perspectives on events, whether from the past or ongoing.

Editing is his least favorite part of the process, but he usually gets help from his news mentor Kyurem. Cinnyris also has a fascination with new microphone technology and experiments with radio broadcasting, even if many residents still prefer learning their information in newspapers.

 		Appearance:
Cinnyris is a big, burly Ridgeback who takes strongly after his Guardian father. He has guardian-like horns and a sturdy figure. He has a short snout, a double-spike on his forehead, a row of two spikes on each side of his neck, his shoulders, and wings. From head to toe, he is the tallest standing dragon in Florabrisa.

He tries to keep his look professional, ready for interviews with a nice long coat and fashionable scarf. He wears a banner showing his affiliation with the lair's local news, and keeps a badge in his coat as well.
