  • a mortal twisted into a monster by the witch maeve; mute but capable of supernatural strength
  • managed to break free of her control and regain his free will
  • he was found by nimue with no memory of his past life, who took him in and treated him like a son (much to her friend chime's disdain and suspicion)
  • looks spooky but is a big sweetheart, very gentle
  • helps out nimue with her healing by running errands or gathering supplies, etc
  • although initially afraid of his own power, he's now determined to use it for good by protecting his 'family' and slaying the monsters that plague the fen (with much pushing and provocation from chime, who would be very happy for him to leave)
