girl help my marriage ended k no for real uhhhh ok he's a spirit creature thing-that-was-once-dragon caught up in the woods. he doesn't have any sense of where he is; sometimes he wanders into the Tabemono settlement and Ramu has to fetch him out. Or idk maybe everyone can see him, but he can't sense them, so sometimes Ocha brings him back out? Ocha would actually probably usher him into the cafe and fix him up a nice cuppa tea yah idk Cherry is "an old man filled with regret" (ye Inception reference) and he's lost the thread of reality i guess. doesn't even know he's dead, the usual deal he hums half-formed songs about his wife (possibly his kids too??? idk does he have them? it's unclear) who left him for unknown reasons an unknown time ago. Tabemono clan members theorize about how old he is. he sure seems ancient. Oh he can make guitar chord sounds with his throat which is spooky as hell so at some point Arbor fixed up an old uke and gave it to him. Cherry's still figuring out how to play it. It's more of a prop than a tool to him; at least it's pretty. |
