City of Caesura
Melon just couldn't believe her eyes when she and Tacitus first arrived in Caesura. She had grown up in wind, after all, but this city was like nothing she had ever seen. Partially carved into the cliffs that hung over the channel between Wind and Fire territory, this city was a bustling hub of trade and culture. Every street seemingly had vendor stalls hawking wares, banners and flags draped around doorways or across lamposts, and a bustle of activity. Airships flew past overhead on their way to the docks to unload trade goods, and hatchlings ran through underfoot, waving small kites or pinwheels.

It seemed like the perfect place to have a nest! She just couldn't wait! The happy pair settled into a cozy cottage off the edge of a park, and stayed for several weeks as they waited for the anticipated arrival of their new hatchlings. On a bright and early day, three new little coatls joined the world, blinking their bright green eyes as they yawned and rolled about in the soft grasses of their nest.

After a few days, the younglings were well enough to travel, and so the family packed up, bought pinwheels aplenty, and flew back to show their friends and family back home the lovely little younglings.
