Appreciate them and their literature!!

The young wildclaw skipped through the Emberglow Hearth. The scorching rocks beneath her toes that used to burn so terribly were fine against her thick under toe now. Growing up in the heat had changed her, but she was still fast as ever.
She skimmed back to the vent of her home, bringing only a small pot of water with a few burnt fish dumb enough to come close from the Tidelord’s land to the Flamecaller’s.
It was little yet it was food.
She crouched beside her mother and father with a few of her siblings, offering food up. The family of wildclaws had little and needed all they could get. Her parents would surely have a new clutch next year and needed the strength to get there.
Her mother was laying down, sipping some of the water. At the back of the room Velorex was frying the fish and the other morsels they’d collected for dinner. Some of her older siblings were out hunting and father was talking about battle strategies to Verdant.
She snuggled up to mother, and knew she was thinking the same as Zebrin was. When could they live life without putting their survival at risk with the little they had?

“I’m not doing that Velorex!” Her two brothers were outside with her. Contemplating how to make their life easier. They’d already lost an egg or two from the fact they didn’t have enough time to care for it properly.
“Listen Zebrin, I know you always wish to be good in the eyes of the deities. But we need food! What have they ever done for us? You need to do this, sister. It may be hard but if you keep it up we will be well fed and happy for eternity. You’re the lithest, the quickest and… dare I say it, smartest. You could do it!” Encouraged Verdant. He gave a slight smile at ‘smartest’.
She blinked, looking down at her feet. She was the strongest, fastest, most athletic of her clutch but she never thought that theft was the route for herself. She closed her eyes pensively.
“I’ll think about it.”
Thinking about it was one thing, doing it a few hours later is another.
She didn’t know how they convinced her. But there she was, scaling up a mansion-like volcanic geyser. Her heart pounded, she barely remembered the conversation between her siblings of why and how she would do this. Already the thoughts of the well organised theft were slipping away into panic.
No. She thought.
I’m going to do this.
She scaled the lava-filled mountain and finally reached a vent. Inhaling a last smoke-free breath, she dived into the hole.
The inside was well-furnished, unlike the rest of the edge of the Flamecaller’s residing. She swiped a few pieces of jewellery that were lazily scattered around. She had to stop herself scoffing, if you had this wealth, why would you disregard it? But she pushed away her thoughts and focused on the task.
They had decided she would steal all valuable items they could get, and food. They’d sell the valuable items for food and convince mother and father they’d ‘scavenged’ it. It felt wrong but, she oh so desperately wanted to have a good meal and for everyone to be fed. It was worth it.
Suddenly, her eyes raised to a stand, upon it sat a vial. A vial of glowing sight.
This could feed her family for days! She was about to leap up and grab it yet paused. The owners would get suspicious if they lost their vial and then some poor wildclaw was selling it. She needed to get a replacement that they wouldn’t notice…
Her eyes flashed back to when she went through a brewing station, she’d thought nothing much of the room and just took some of the rarer brewing materials, but it was perfect. She stealthily stalked back to the room, and her eyes darted throughout the objects in the space.
A desk lined the edge of the small room on either side, in the middle was a furnace shaped out of a natural hole that magma steamed through. Upon the furnace was a cauldron for brewing. Beside this were some empty vials. Zebrin grabbed one and filled it with some cauldron water. It was blistering hot in her claws, but she’d be fine.
She ran back as quietly as she could to the room and quickly swapped the vials. Hoping that some alarm wouldn’t blast like in the stories mother used to tell her, she crept out. It didn’t. She grabbed her other stolen items and ran back what she assumed to be the exit. Adrenaline faded and she noticed the sweat beaded on her forehead as she made the last stretch out.

Her family ate well that night, father and mother noticed the increase of food but didn’t mention much, they were too happy to have food.
Zebrin loved it, really, it surprised her. But was she a criminal? Was what she was doing right?
It didn’t matter, it was the only choice.
And little did she know it’d be the turning point for her new life.
