B I O G R A P H Y

Astraea, or simply 'Rae' to those who are fond of her, is the leader of the Heartsgleam Healers. She is believed to have been brought into this world by the Lightweaver herself, giving her spectacular healing magic and Light abilities. Perhaps she's a bit egotistical due to this, and she certainly likes to get what she wants, but Diata doesn't mind knocking her down a peg or two when she gets too bigheaded. The fae also has an almost hatchling like naivete, which can make running the clan a challenge. However, she is keenly book smart, eloquent, and unafraid to use the immense power that lies within her.

H I S T O R Y

Once, within an early summer's dusk, a beam of light ripped apart the sky.
Another dose of the Lightweaver's blessed power struck the land Sornieth,
pulling together ancient stones, knowledge, and magic, to form somebody new.
A Fae Dragon soon arose from the cocoon of bleached bricks and engravings,
taking in the sights and sounds around her as the holy glow disappeared.
The sun was setting upon the horizon, the world soon veiled in golden light.

What a beautiful world this is, and yet, there seems to be a Darkness that rests here.

The soft song of bells, rustling of leaves, and whispers of the wind surrounded her.
A moment was taken to enjoy the harmony, before the sound of steps was added to it.
Looking for a shelter, the young Fae found herself a home within the ancient walls,
a simple, large crack, broken into the towering walls, served as her shelter, for now.
The pitter-patter of rain soon muffled the bells and leaf-song, thunder joining instead.
It simply seemed right, and yet, dark shadows were seen in the trees and the ruins.

Perhaps, she was brought here to vanquish the darkness that rested in this holy place?
That seemed about right; otherwise, what reason would she have for being here?
Whatever the reason, it was drowned out by the sound of the rain, like the bells.
The relics of ancient times keeping the young Fae safe, sleep soon overcame her.

The Broken Moon's glow broke through the clouds, the terrace illuminated by Heaven's Light.
That Sun, one day, would claim it's stolen ring of Light; the Fae would make sure of it.
