The favoured daughter and heiress to a once-grand clan of silversmiths.
Much of Pox's family was slaughtered in a raid by Altiel's group, with her being one of the few who were captured instead. Altiel had plans for her which were scarpered only by Ciron's sudden arrival and subsequent allyship with her.
She later found herself the ersatz parent to the three Banescales the pearlcatcher discovered, and stuck close by Ciron in spite of her (very fair) misgivings and uncertainty about his own intentions.
When Peony was later brought as she was, the two befriended each other while under Ciron's protection, and when the time came to escape, they did so together.
A decent number of Peony's clan did manage to survive by joining with the citizens of Riverview, and when the two found it they were welcomed with open arms. Peony took up her inherited role of clan leader, and began to work alongside Azuline and Glaucous, while Pox accepted the offer to learn farming from Pattypan.
In time, the old farmer earned her trust and became like family to her and Peony, as well. He offered the two dragonesses the option to inherit the farm from him in time, but Pox has also recently been "scouted" by the leaders of Laurelnest for her work in jewellery. What choice she will make is uncertain, but nonetheless the future seems full of hope and healing, with a place to call home and with Peony as her wife.
