The cool, pleasant scent of herbs and medicine lingered in the air, faint yet refreshing. To Anaisia, it was the scent of home, a scent she loved and adored. It made her feel safe. For she was a healer - a medic dragon whose main role was to tend and care for sick and injured patients, a role she was deeply proud of. She came from a long line of healers, as her parents and ancestors had all been healers: it simply ran in the family. “Comfrey, made into a poultice, for gout and arthritis.” Anaisia murmured.“Chamomile as a sedative for anxiety and relaxation. That reminds me. Irga might appreciate a brew of soothing medicinal herbs later, to help her with her constant nightmares. I should also brew a solution to treat her wounds - my precious baby is always so careless with herself in the Coliseum.” Tutting, she gathered a swathe of herbs tenderly, caressing them as to not bruise or damage even a single leaf. After all, they were for the one she loved the most. “I’ve taken the Hippocratic Oath, which compels me to treat a patient to the best of my ability - and I've noticed that my company always leaves her happier than before; thus, I should pay her more visits, to improve her mental state - as it is my duty as a healer. Perhaps love, just like medicine, can be a potent ailment for the deepest wounds. How strange.” An idiotic grin creeped across her usually composed and stoic features, the way it always did when she thought of her girlfriend. How very amusing. Anaisia made a mental note to take care of that issue later. A chuckle escaped her as her gaze drifted to the bright pink flowers attached to her tail, which was now excitedly thumping like that of a dog’s. Those flowers matched with the bright, cheerful yellow ones that she had just made for Irga, which were a symbol of their romantic relationship, a token of their deep love. Whenever she looked at them, she would be enraptured by the purest kind of sweet joy.
