Biography
acaelus "he didn't know where he was, only knew that he was falling and he needed to fly." acaelus. where would anyone be without him? he was a legend, no doubt, his story shared all across sornieth. the hatchlings grew up dreaming to have even just half as much strength and courage as he had. acaelus was a humble figure, and of course, his story begins with a blizzard. this blizzard was not any ordinary blizzard. in fact, it was extremely out of the ordinary, as it centered around the gladeveins. nearly all of the inhabitants of the area had never seen such a sight before - it was, quite simply, magical. the residents didn't know what to do - it was freezing and hurt their delicate wings when they touched it, though it was so magnificent that nobody wanted to go back inside. however, the blizzard of the labyrinth, as it came to be called, ended as abruptly as it started. the only difference was the newfound memory of snow and nearly half the population dead. acaelus had been venturing through the everbloom gardens that day, as it happens. he was a bright boy back then: top marks, an ace in the social breed hierarchy, cheerful and a known chatterbox. or at least, he used to be. you see, the half of the population that had died during the blizzard of the labyrinth? acaelus' entire family was part of that half. and the second he heard of the blizzard, the moment his foot stepped into the lair he lived in, he knew. they were gone. acaelus slowly lost himself after that. ace of the school, top marks, what use was it? if the best mage in the school couldn't save his family, he couldn't save anyone. it wouldn't matter, didn't matter, whether he lived or died. he met liox, a gentle rabid grinfin, a few years after the blizzard. now, grinfins are magical creatures. they're known for mending hearts and helping you find yourself. with a light touch, liox faded, leaving acaelus nothing but a powerful aura that would 'help him find himself.' and so he flew out to the southern icefields and, with no opposition, claimed his territory, made his mark, and started a life for himself out in the barren tundras. the legends say that snowflakes flitter around him as he carries his past in his heart. and i truly do hope he flies high for the rest of his life. |

He has the glitter of a clear winter night sky: like diamonds on snow. It's a chilly elegance.

So, it was a toss-up between this guy and Savannah, but eventually I had to go with Acaelus. I love his icy theme, I feel cold just looking at him! The skin and apparel complement each other very well.
