One of the few older Aberrations at Home who was born outside of Plague, Alcor's family was exiled from the Wyrmwound well before his birth. Previously a family of great importance, they had fallen from grace before he was born, and if Alcor knows why, he doesn't talk about it. A proud dragon and good with a sword, he left Earth to seek his fortune elsewhere, meeting his boyfriend Moriah on his travels. Now a member of the school's guard, he is happy to have a place to call home at last.
- Biography
Alcor's family was highly nomadic, and he grew up always on the move. He was used to taking odd jobs to get by, and during a stay in Fire, he took a shine to smithing, and still likes to make swords and jewelry when he has the chance. Although he was loathe to do so, after Aberrations were revealed to the wider world, he left his birth family to seek his fortune in the wider world, meeting Moriah, a travelling hired bow, along the way. The two agreed to join Home's guard for a season, and decided to stay. Now, Alcor distinguishes himself as an exemplary leader and swordsman, and is highly respected among the other dragons at Home.
- Life at Home
A proud, reserved dragon, Alcor keeps himself close to his chest, and allows few dragons to get to know him well. He often comes across as dismissive and haughty, and doesn't make friends easily. He takes his work very seriously, making him seem intimidating or even scary to the students at Home. Fortunately, his boyfriend Moriah, who is always with him, does a great deal to soften his sharper edges. Moriah is light-hearted and usually cheerful, and even Alcor can hardly keep from smiling around him.
- Relationships
Alcor is serious and often distant, but he's loyal to a fault. A natural leader who leads by example, he strives to come across as always brave and steadfast, and most dragons around Home find his example worth following. He is highly respected among the other members of Home's staff, and even if students find him a bit scary, they still usually think he's at least cool. He can most often be found with his boyfriend Moriah - everyone says the two are pretty much made for each other, Alcor bringing Moriah down to earth and Moriah helping to get Alcor off the ground. Alcor has taken up gardening in the couple's plot as a way to share in Moriah's hobbies, though he's pretty terrible at it.
- Personality
A stubborn and haughty dragon, Alcor is immensely self-assured and more than a little self-important. He's excellent at what he does, and he knows it perfectly well and doesn't see any point in false modesty. Alcor is kind to his friends and treats their problems as his own, but his typical gruff demeanor can cover up his love. He can admit when he's done something to hurt someone else's feelings, and will readily do so, but he struggles to admit to any personal weaknesses. He's terribly near-sighted, but only got a pair of glasses after Moriah nagged him about it for literal years, instead arguing that it wasn't smart to have glass in front of his eyes when he makes his living on the battlefield (which is reasonable) and that his eyesight isn't "that bad" (which is not true). Moriah says that the fact Alcor refuses to wear his glasses so often that he has a nearly perpetual headache explains a lot about his personality.

Exalting Alcor to the service of the Lightweaver will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
