Timmermann joined the clan, following Norle's request. As clan archivar it was part of her job to keep a record of the clan's treasures, which became too much for her to do alone, as the clan and its hoard kept expanding.

Tim has a splendid memory and an eye for details. He aims to keep a complete record of every item in the clan's constantly growing hoard. The task is made considerably harder than it has to be, because some of the clan members continuously acquire new items through less than legal methods.
...On a completely unrelated note, Tim can often be seen arguing with the clan's power couple Gamble and Wildcard. Completely unrelated.

The most detailed records are kept on all the unhatched eggs that various members of the clan bring home from hunting, scavenging, battling and exploring. An additional project, which Tim is most proud of, is his bestiary.

As record-keeping requires a lot of paper, Timmermann is happy about every piece of parchment, empty notebook and quill that is brought to him.
