Karuista lapsuuden oloista päästyään MilleFeuille vannoi, ettei koskaan joutuisi näkemään nälkää kuten Dragonhomessa oli joutunut. Hän hankki itselleen erinomaisen koulutuksen luontolohikäärmeiden parissa. Yltäkylläisyydessä eläminen hioi tytön ilmiömäistä makukykyä.

MilleFeuille ei kuitenkaan ole yhtä kärsivällinen, että saattaisi itse valmistaa oman ruokansa. Hän mieluummin nauttii valmiista aterioista muiden lahjakkaiden lohikäärmeiden tarjoilemana. Koska tyttö on terävä kynänsä kanssa, hän alkoi kirjoittaa arvosteluita syömistään ruuista. Näin hän etsiytyi myös Tähdenlennon saariryhmään.

Rusettien hovin huipputasoiset kondiittorit loivat Millefeuillen nimenperäisen leivoksen, jolle tyttö menetti lopullisesti sydämensä ja on siksi päättävät asettua pitemmäksi aikaa kirjoittamaan hovin ensiluokkaisista jälkiruuista, jotta muutkin lohikäärmeet ympäri Sorniethia saavat tietää näistä kulinaristin päiväunista.
