ARK, THE EMISSARY


Ark is the second-hand derg to Mother Bitestrith, and takes pride in his position as Mavenclaw's emissary to communities near and far - usually nearer these days, given his age. Through coordinated visits and dealmaking, Ark helps the clan sell and display artwork in places they would otherwise never reach. His efforts might be the most overlooked of the Mavenclaw residents, in lieu for the eye-catching art that they produce, but without him, it is safe to say that the clan would not exist in the thriving state one finds it in today.

He has very little time to himself, but when he does, he enjoys pottery. When his body becomes too weary to travel - a fate he hopes to avoid for as long as possible - this Guardian will retire into a full-time position behind the pottery wheel.

Mother Bitestrith has tried to encourage Ark to take vacations, but he's far too much of a workaholic to enjoy sitting around for long. Unless it involves a little alone time with Ming, of course. He loves Bitestrith just as much, maintaining the strength of the three's polycule - but the day that the Mother gets a break is the day she dies.

His skin is a mostly uncomplicated coral, reflecting the relative simplicity of this straightforward dragon.
Duties: Emissary work, creating and cultivating connections between Mavenclaw and the outside world.
