>qoute: butch cook and hostelry owner, while rational and down-to-Sornieth, she can be quite ruthless, taking the heads of her enemies and pressing them in a wine press to make unique wine mixed with blood. She's a bit stubborn sometimes but mostly with good intentions
>qoute: Shezmu, the cook and tavern owner, got her name after the butcher deity of oil and wine press. She's generally a food-lover but is also a very strong and finely built sneak >qoute: this is Shezmu, the clan's bloodthirsty cook and tavern owner with a fiery and stubborn personality. She was based on the deity of the same name, a god of oil and wine press, beer, food and butchers. An expert with spears, axes and hammers, she beheads her enemies, pushes them through the press and mixes their blood with wine. Her design was based on a combination between an Egyptian and Roman soldier, with green colours resembling olive groves, palm trees and food, golden pelts of leopards and the red colour of blood and war. Her tavern is a simple and welcoming place, based on a Hellenistic/Egyptian style, available to all visitors and clan members. Futons, pillows, marble counters and metal tables, while hunter trophies, shields and spears adorn the painted walls. The kitchen counter is a part of the dining area so all of the food is prepared in front of the visitors, making it feel more like home. The tavern also has numerous rooms for travellers to rest in, many of them shared or mattresses separated with dividers, all in a torch-lit environment >qoute: Shezmu is a tavern owner and a cook, her style based on a combination between an Egyptian and Roman soldier. She is a pretty stubborn but good-hearted individual with a fiery personality. She loves fowl and loves to keep them as companions. Her tavern is generally a simple and welcoming place for travelers and merchants, in a mostly Hellenistic style with futons, pretty wooden chairs, intricate metal tables and marble counters, and beautifully painted walls adorned with shields, spears and trophies. She makes sure that the counters are always filled with food and drink, while all of the clan's denizens are free to eat, tourists and travellers need to have a coin to provide. The kitchen is a part of the dining area since it is a public place available to everyone, and the food preparation takes place in the same room. Her colours are based on green olive groves and date palm trees, golden pelts of leopards and the red colour of war >can frequently be found in the biggest tavern of the village, in her open kitchen, polishing chalices and crystal glassware >fairly stubborn individual but with a heart of gold; will throw anyone out who's making a mess without any mercy and if needed, she will threaten them with her broadsword >has battle experience; used to work as a metallurgist in a farming village and insisted on being recruited as she was determined to serve the royal army but they refused to recruit her as she has a limp due to a childhood injury >she even got much better at swordfighting and archery after many months of trying to get recruited, however she found out about the corrupt inner workings of the oppressive regime across the desert >right after she had ended up as a member of minor scouting troops, she realised how incredibly corrupt the system was, and after a commander and his henchmen attacked some farmers she knew since she was a kid, she slaughtered all of them >some rebels noticed what she had done and asked her to join them but she was primarily set on keeping the village safe >after she had befriended some of the rebels and provided them with the necessary equipment, they swore to protect the village and its farmers, as they had initially planned >she on the other hand had to leave her home and eventually ended up getting accepted into Sekhet Aaru |
