  • Persistent, courageous, fierce.

  • Verval lives on her own outside the limits of the caravan, trailing behind it, or marching before it.

  • She can track a falcon on a cloudy day. Nothing and no one can hide from her keen senses and mind.

Verval rarely speaks, and turns a cold shoulder to most of the caravan, except for Neirin, the only one she considers worth her time. He, at least, understands what it means to be a Gaoler, and what sacrifices one must make for the greater good of Sornieth. The temptations of the caravan are not ones that have convinced her to abandon her order, and she prefers the coarseness of the trail, and the rockiness of the ground on which she makes her bed.

Some say she was a Tundra once, because her sense of smell is perfect. She denies this vehemently.
