Biography

20181024_graphic1_by_death_in_the_orchard-dcqadff.png

He was quite the sight, to be sure: a great hulking mass of muscle and what many would consider hideous green stripes across his back. His eyes were white and bland, his face often devoid of expression. And to top it all off, he had the grace of a newborn giraffe both while walking and flying. However, despite what the other dragons said about him, Sudd was proud of his looks.

He was born of Ice, though he found his home in the marshlands of the Viridian Labyrinth. Here, he could blend in much more and easily hide in his surroundings, though he didn't feel the need to. His love of all living creatures was shared by his friends and neighbors. He even had his own garden, full of beautiful plants and flowers; he loved when the butterflies would visit more than anything.

However, Sudd never took up an occupation in gardening, or agriculture, or anything to do with plants at all. No, that wasn't his true calling.

He was a public speaker.

Sudd found happiness in spreading positivity around the world of Sornieth. If there was one thing in the world he loved more than anything else, it was the joy he got from helping others through his words. After having been ridiculed for his looks his whole life, he understood how important a few kind words could be. He used it to make a difference, to encourage those like himself that life really was worth living. And every time a dragon came up to thank him, to talk, to just be in his presence, Sudd felt inexplicably happy. Each dragon was a heart he had touched, a mind he had influenced. Each dragon was someone he had made a difference for.

And that was worth everything in the world.
