Lithium Uh-oh, looks like this curious shagster wandered a little too far from his home lair (Quigley #499853), and now he's off to see the world! If you ever feel the urge to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off to See the World' thread, here. Lithium's curiosity has always gotten the best of him. But, despite the predicaments he has often found himself in, he feels that the rewards always outweigh the difficulties. Sure, he ended up in the medic's tent for a week, but he learned that parkour is a lot more difficult than it looks. And yes, he did get his head stuck in a beehive once. But he learned how to hum at just the right frequency to put them to sleep so he wouldn't get stung too many times.

And now he has decided to branch out on a new quest, one that will take him to foreign lands and unexplored territories. He's not sure what he will learn along the way, but he knows it won't be boring!



In the Shifting Expanse Lithium had a brief but very uncomfortable run-in with a cactus - but he learned a lot about the flora and fauna of the desert! At the Oasis he made several friends and even had a nest with one of the local residents. Although he was very fond of his new hatchlings, Lithium wasn't ready yet to settle down, and decided to head off to the next location with Fawna, another traveling dragon he'd befriended there.

When Fawna decided to go back home, Lithium pressed on. He might have lost her company, but not long after he found a group of dragons to hang out with, and learned how to play flute using his nose.



Ending up in a Water lair, he was welcomed into the fisher’s group for his excellent camouflage - a pity he did not know how to swim! He learned the basics of not drowning, but he won't be setting any records either. After a brief entanglement with a very pretty and welcoming Wildclaw, he felt it was time to move on.



After travelling for a while, Lithium found himself trudging through very thick snow, though his fluffy fur kept him warm. Still, the snow began falling more thickly until he could barely see anything! He ended up walking right into a large wooden door - the entrance to a large inn within a cave system! The dragons inside were very friendly and everyone seemed to be in good spirits. Lithium found himself swapping stories with several other dragons - he found he got the most laughs when he told his beehive and cactus stories.

When he decided that it was time to continue his travels, one of the dragons he'd been swapping stories with came up to him. "I haven't laughed that hard in months!" he chirped. "I want you to have these goggles as a thank you!" Lithium grinned; he'd made a great new friend and the googles made it much easier to see through the snow as he left.

Lithium decided he wanted to go somewhere warmer after the Southern Icefield, so he caught a ride on a boat without caring for its destination. It turned out that its destination was a port in the Sunbeam Ruins - which was definitely what he was looking for!

He found himself made welcome by Hielo, the leader of a clan filled with robots, AIs, and all kinds of strange citizens. During the welcoming feast, he bumped into a handsome Bogsneak. Maxwell was passionate about science, and Lithium found his rambles about the laws of physics and the universe fascinating and endearing. He found himself developing a crush!

When he finally worked up the courage to confess his crush, he was delighted and relieved to discover that Maxwell returned his feelings. They became a couple, and Lithium spent many hours - many days, many months - in his boyfriend's lab.

Unfortunately, Lithium still felt the tug of adventure. Though he was reluctant to leave, Maxwell urged him to do what made him happy. Lithium promised he'd never forget his time in this quirky clan - and especially Maxwell himself. He hoped, once he'd satisfied his wanderlust, he'd get to come back.



Lithium ended up in the clan of Crow Callers, where he met all kinds of dragons from all over Sornieth. He swapped stories with them and was pleased to again have success with his beehive and cactus retellings.

When he decided to move on, he tagged along with fellow travelling dragon Eladrin; maybe he'd be able to help her with her quest.



Lithium and Eladrin stopped in the Shifting Expanse to watch the intense storms rage in the distance; the rainbows at the end were always a sight to behold. Eladrin's awe of them wore off faster than Lithium's, however, and she left him to continue her journey.



At the Sunbeam Lanternhouse, Lithium did not expect to have much of an adventure - its residents were dedicated to making their guests comfortable, not excited - but he did have an enjoyable fling with Chie.

And then his expectations were totally upended when he met Mercedes. Among her caravan of antiques, he found a pair of feathered wings that made acrobatics effortless! He amused himself - and the clan - with his newfound prowess. When Mercedes had concluded her business, Lithium begged her to take him with her.

As a way of saying thank you to Mercedes for letting him travel with her, he was determined to help her sell at least one of her items. That was the main goal he had in mind when they reached their next destination, a flying island on the Hoverview Vale.

As soon as Mercedes set up her caravan, a small group of dragons started to gather around. Lithium ignored the scholars that were looking into the odd and delicate antiquities, the Snapper could handle those. No, he was trying to find bystanders who looked like they were down to clown- his type of dragons.

Sure enough, he managed to attract a few curious locals with his antics, everything was going great. He had already sold a magic based jetpack and a trampoline that poofed out glitter every time you jumped on it! Lithium went back to the caravan to find the next item to show off and picked up a funny looking little propeller hat "This smells like magic" he thought to himself. "I'm sure it's gonna delight all these arcane dragons"

He came out of the tent and, with a confident expression on his face, put on the hat. Mercedes saw him out of the corner of her eye, and screamed. "NO, WAIT! THE HAT IS-" But before she could finish her sentence, Lithium was already being flung across the air. He couldn't control his movements! He went up on the air, flew down, bumped a few dragons, broke three or four flower pots, hit his face against a window then fell down a flight of stairs. Thankfully, a crowd of dragons were already running to his rescue. "Haunted." Said Mercedes taking off the hat of his head. "The hat is haunted."



“Lithium were are you going? Traveling dragons need to sign up first!” Lithium’s traveling partner Mercedes whispers worriedly towards him.
“Don’t worry about it! Just going to take a peek around a bit!” And Lithium wandered out of the welcome center and into the clan central. His eyes were caught by a colorful looking boutique, there weren’t any dragons inside so what could the harm be? Sneaking in he admired all the outfits and garments before making his way to the back trying on all sorts of fancy jewelry and drapes and clothing before hearing a bell ringing at the front door, scrambling to get out he might have forgotten to take of a shirt he tried on.

“Is… is that from the back?” Lithium was met with a cream colored Skydancer, “Uhhh, maybe?” He sheepishly smiled, “Well it looks good on you, keep it!” “Really?” “Yeah definitely! But Uh I heard the traveling dragon register, Nautica, is on the hunt for a blue tundra, I’d rush if I were you, she gets worried easily.” after catching the sky dancers name, Creampuff, Lithium hurried back to register so he could continue adventuring and getting into trouble.
