Nelij

Born of a vampiric wraith and a demi-god into the wastelands of Plague.

Even with previous nests under their belt, Achierou and Khazana quickly realized that, regardless of the size of the nest, or the amount of experience gained, or even whether or not it was planned, each of their nests will always turn out to be a handful. The pair welcomed the difficulty, and responsibility, with open arms.

Though he'd deny such, every nest immediately has, and will have, Achierou wrapped around their little claws.

Achierou was pleased when the hatchlings vampiric instincts began to show, and quickly taught them the ins and outs of their diet — using unfortunate wanderers for practice.

Khazana kept vigilant while the children were about and taught them how to use their empathy to their advantage, and when they were old enough to hold a sword without immediately tipping over she taught them how to fight with it.

These hatchlings have a wide range of magic-based powers, including the ability to revitalize themselves by either siphoning magic from another dragon's stores or ingesting some of their blood, and the ability to briefly take on an ethereal form to avoid physical damage and detection.

The negative reputation that generally follows wraiths generally overshadows their ability to heal others. They can either infuse their magic into the one in question or, as a more desperate and less 'tasteful' option, offer up some of their blood.

If one is healed in the latter manner, they're left bedridden, as if severely ill with the flu, until the given blood runs its course and is expelled from the body either naturally or via cleansing magic. The more one is healed with a vampiric wraith's blood, the greater their chance of becoming addicted.
