She wants to know what makes things grow and thrive, whether it's the glowtrees, animals or dragons. She has no patience for university bureaucracy or pearlcatchers' posturing. However, being a fairly charismatic and persuasive person, she has learned how to use these traits to her advantage from time to time.
She gets angry very quickly if plants are mistreated.
She hates the dry air of Sunbeam Ruins and often goes down to the river to "breathe easy".

Clan interactions
Zinnia disapproves somewhat of Telperion's management, because Zinnia would like to see the forest expand while Tel would merely like to maintain it.

She was utterly shocked and very pleased that Edwin knew some of the coatl language. She spends time with Tinc when she can.
