Ominous Lore Ominous is the first born of Moani, the 13th public offspring of Willow who is the only living offspring of Naomi, the infamous fae who is believed to have eaten the couriers on that fateful day January 2016. Moani's first nest was sold at auction starting October 12, 2019. Ominous sold for a whopping 20,265 gems worth of items and raw gems, purchased by Ravenkara. He carries with him the power of his mother who carries Naomi's hatchdate as well as the ominous luck of being the 13th offspring. He also carries the plague strain of his father, Ricar,who is said to infect those who enter his lair with a plague gifted to his clan by Plaguemother. Ricar passed the plague to Moani, but her housing in a Light clan rendered it inert thus hiding her tertiary. All of her children carry the plague, including Ominous. If his plague becomes active, his tertiary will begin to show. November 1, 2019 Ominous' plague becomes active. He sprouts what appears to be peacock spots across his shoulders and wings. Upon closer inspection though, it's clear this is not jus patterned spots.... They're Eyes. His plague has appeared in the form of eyes that can look in many directions at once. He can see all around him at all times. Even when he sleeps, the eyes seem to function as their own entities. They're always watching.... January 9th, 2020 Ominous nests with his third mate, Amnesia. What he doesn't know, is that this Siren of Mind can steal memories with one touch. Ominous is no exception. Much like Omani, Ominous glitches. When he woke after nesting, his colors were different and he didn't recognize the dragons around him. He doesn't remember the Cult of Whisper or why the terrifying brown and red fae is commanding them. Ominous fled. When he did, his panic made him glitch.... and he ran smack into Omani. Omani prepared for a fight, but ominous didn't attack him. The younger fae just looked afraid and confused. "Wh...who are you? I don't know where I am... who I am...." Ominous says a He glitches. Omani, in his tension and assumption that this is a trick, also glitches. Amra, blind but knowing, lays a hand on Omani's wing. "It's not a ruse. He nested with the Siren of Stolen Mind. He doesn't remember." Omani looks at the frightened fae, and lowers his claws. "I'm your cousin, Omani. Your name is Ominous. Come with me.. there is much to discuss..." And so began Ominous's allegiance to the Faithful of Mara. |
