Lupin

A ridgeback with a heart of gold and also Erin's trusty partner. Lupin's dream has always been to be part of an exploration team, and he couldn't be happier he's made it this far. He will never stop being grateful towards Erin for giving him the courage to finally start training in the Guardian's Guild, all the way back when they just met. Though he's a bit timid in nature, he's been able to overcome that thanks to training with Erin in the guild, and nowadays he's aan accomplished explorer and fighter. Lupin's main abilities include melee attacks infused with light magic, with his special move being a devastating charge towards the enemy, using his large bulk to overhelm them.

Ever since he was small, Lupin looked up to his family line, awed by their strenght, but believing himself to be too much of a coward to achieve what they had. Though being a Night Warrior did bless him with some inherited powers, he didn't really think he could do it, no matter how much he wanted it.

It changed when, one day, he doesn't quite remember when or how... he happened to pick up a relic fragment. It's like one moment he didn't have it, and the next he did. It was weird, but somehow, Lupin just knew he had to treasure the small piece of inscribed rock, convinced it was the key to uncharted lands. Sure, still felt himself to be a big chicken... but now, he had something.

As he grew, Lupin tried to join the Guardian's Guild multiple times, only to back out at the last minute, terrified he couldn't do it, that he wasn't good enough.

Then he met Erin.

At first, he found Erin to be kind of strange. A dragon claiming to be a human? One with memory loss at that? Now that was something you didn't hear every day! Still, she'd been knocked out in the middle of the beach only minutes prior.

He didn't have time to dwell on it when he was attacked by to mirrors who stole his relic fragment. He didn't know what to do, he was so scared...

But... Erin saw what happened, didn't she?

He pleaded for her help, and though she reluctantly agreed, he felt a surge of confidence go through him when Erin joined him in chasing the mirrors. The duo beat the mirrors up and took the relic fragment back.

Convinced there was something special about Erin, Lupin knew he just had to get her to help him form an exploration team. She was so cool when fighting those two mirrors, and so fast and incredible and-

Erin agreed, and that was their first step into a grand realm of adventures.

A lot happened after that. They were trained in the Guardian's Guild, the went on rescue missions, on a guild expedition, they caught outlaws...

They learnt of the planet's paralysis.

As it turned out, Lupin's relic fragment was one of the keys to stopping the catastrophic planet's paralysis, acting as a gateway into the dimension that held Temporal Tower, the place that controlled all of time. Erin and Lupin had been chosen to stop the disaster by a higher power, and bravely the two young dragons went to stop the planet from completely paralyzing.

After that, now returning as heroes, Lupin and Erin were allowed to take a graduation exam, which they passed with flying colours. They had grown into incredible explorers since first starting.

They also ended up fighting the creature that tried to cause the planet's paralysis; a Shade touched being that was hoping to increase its power. ith the help of a minor moon goddess, however, Lupin and Erin were able to beat the creature, and slowly went back to their duties as an exploration team.

It was Lupin's idea to settle their base in the Purring Winds, convinced the large clan could be a good way to network and receive job offers.
