She was obsessed with him and nothing, no one, would keep her from him. Her silks blew in the wind, covering her sleek rose form in a transparent shimmer. She jogged across the terrain, heading towards the Bloodbrush Woods. She had to find him. He should be here. She knew he often took time for himself and disappeared into the woods.

Just how did she know? She trailed him one night, keeping a blade close to her. She was ready for a fight. Why would he be sneaking out in the middle of the night if not to meet someone else? She’d been completely loyal to him, she had even killed for him (not that he knew), and he was going to throw that away, and for what? A drab coatl? No, she wouldn’t let that happen, not ever. As long as she was around, she would protect her love. The spines on her head trembled, partly from the weather and partly from the adrenaline rush. She kept to the shadows, cloaked in dark clothing to avoid all his eyes. His eyes. She couldn’t think of a feature she loved more. His eyes were perfect, like glistening drops of fresh blood. When the summer sun reflected in them, they turned translucent, like the rubies on his sword. And she couldn’t forget about having not two, but dozens of eyes focused on her, and only her. She snapped out of her trance when a branch snapped. Turning her attention back to her love, she saw him stop in the middle of a clearing. She sighed, staring at him as the moonlight filtered through the wispy clouds, bathing him in an ethereal glow.

Yanya’s suspicions were confirmed when she heard the voice of a female dragon. A silent growl escaped her throat and she almost ran out of her shadows to confront the two. But before she could, she heard scuffling and then silence. The wildclaw didn’t understand. If something was going to happen between her prince and someone else, wouldn’t there be noise? She cautiously took a silent step out from behind a tree and saw what happened. Lelym had blood on him, dripping from his mouth and paws. Beneath, a young dragon laid still, blood pooling under her neck. The wildclaw stepped closer, trying to understand what happened. She stepped on a small pile of leaves and the imperial whipped his head around. Failing to notice his bloodshot eyes and bloodstained fangs, she ran up to him. Embracing him, she said, “You do care. I knew no one would get between us.”
She felt a tremble run through Lelym and he inhaled shakily. “It’s only a little blood, my prince. I can clean it up for you.” What she didn’t realize, it took everything in the imperial to not sink his teeth into the wildclaw.

Ever since that night, she had a newfound admiration for the prince, and she couldn’t wait to see him again tonight. She entered the shaded forest, taking care to continue staying in the shadows. She wasn’t scared of him, not even seeing him with the blood on his claws. How could she? She understood.
Making her way further into Bloodbrush Woods, she caught sight of someone ahead of her. She was certain it was her prince. He was hiding behind a cluster of shrubs, and from what, she didn’t know. She smirked as an idea flew in her mind.
Quietly, taking care not to step on anything except the soft earth beneath her, she crept up behind him. Once within distance, she pounced on him. The imperial flung her off and pinned her down. His sharpened teeth reflected the moonlight as he lunged for her.
“Hey!” she called. “You wouldn’t eat your love, would you?”
Lelym scowled, his eyes returning to normal. “Do that again and I will,” he threatened.
The wildclaw just giggled, missing the seriousness in his voice. She didn’t take anything he said to heart. He always joked around with her and acted like he didn’t care. She knew he was just playing hard to get, and she accepted the challenge.
“What are you doing out here?” Yanya asked. She snuggled closer to her prince, taking in the warmth from his body. Laying her head against him, she heard the sound of blood through his veins. Though she knew it wasn’t his, she still felt comforted by the sound. She looked up, grinning as she heard a low growl.

“Yanya, this isn’t a good time,” the imperial said, backing away from the clingy wildclaw. “I have important things to do.”
The wildclaw stepped back and looked at her prince. She had tears welling up in her eyes. “I…I just wanted to spend time with you,” she stammered. “You never spend time with me.”
The imperial’s mouth formed a scowl. He didn’t have time for this. He needed to feed the hunger that threatened to devour him. “Listen,” he said, trying to calm the wildclaw down. “How about we do something later this week?”
Yanya considered the imperial, her eyes trailing the red runes on his body. She wanted to stay with him. With a sigh, she answered, “Okay.”
She heard Lelym release a breath. Had he been worried she wouldn’t agree? That couldn’t be, she would do anything for him, and he knew that. Giving him one last smile, she turned away and wandered out of the forest, leaving Lelym to get back to his hunt.

I absolutely love the way you dress your dragons and your lair vibes in general, it was really difficult to choose just one dragon!

Yanya... what a beautiful dragon.

What a sick dragon.

She looks more like a genuine character design than a FR dragon, especially with that accent. I like how she’s in the infected tab, haha. Yandere has always been a fun horror trope to me, and seeing it portrayed as genuinely sick instead of a fantasy is always nice.

It fits so well with her appearance to the point where it’s hard to separate her lore from her appearance, and that’s a good thing.
