Biography
Nebhis grew up in this clan with her siblings, learning how to control the weather magic they'd inherited from their parents. However, her childhood coincided with a tumultuous time: the rediscovery of Banescales, and their associated magic. The clan was in a state of chaos, and nobody noticed one of the hatchlings be stealthily stolen away by a nearby centaur herd who were investigating the magic of the new dragon breed.
While imprisoned by the herd, she developed a close bond with another trapped dragon, a scholar named Raktacos. Although they tried, they didn't manage to escape before the centaurs forcibly transformed them both into banescales. Breed changing is always a painful process, but having it done against their will turned it into a kind of torture.
Soon afterwards, an insurgent group within the herd rebelled against the leaders who were experimenting on dragons, and freed all those trapped. Nebhis and Raktacos escaped together, along with a couple centaurs who helped them navigate the woods.
