Magic: Nature Uncommon / Naturalist / Jade: These dragons are very difficult to seriously hurt, since they can heal their own wounds within seconds and resist almost all poisons.

The flora had always spoken to him. But he supposed fauna had its merits as well.

"Dad, what's this one?" The small Coatl at his side prodded at a small plant with broad leaves. He knelt down next to his son, lifting the leaf to display its various details, so that Naal could later identify it.

"This is a plantain leaf. The fibers are stringy, but the entire plant is edible. You'll find them in just about any area of distressed land. They're hardy, strong things."

"Like us!"

Shadesong paused, smiling. Naal was learning the power of flora, and their significance, very quickly.

"Yes, like us."
