Ever since his hatching, bravery has never been Kopo's suit. It went on to ridiculous extent - to the point where he was too scared to take wing for the first time. This caused all the hatchlings around him to despise him, and some even bullied the poor Shadow dragon. His only friend, Circuits, was always there to protect him, though, so Kopo felt safe as long as the friendly dragoness stuck around.

For shame, not all good things last forever. Soon enough, Kopo's useless whining tired out even the most patient dragon he knew, and Circuits finally snapped. In a fit of emotion, she growled at poor Kopo, demanding to hear when the hatchling would finally get off his back. The Nocturne was at a loss of words, and so he could only blurt out a single: "I don't know". Enraged, the tired Coatl slashed her claws across Kopo's face, before flying off for the last time. Kopo was left all alone, with no one to speak to and no one to protect him, so he did the only thing that was on his mind - chase after his friend. However, he was smaller and younger, so he eventually fell behind. That was when a big, scary, mean Banescale showed up, offering Kopo to stay in his nest.

Unbeknowst to Kopo, this dragon was a vicious flesh-eater, hunting out dragons to devour them. He treated the Nocturne like a friend, warming his heart up to him, and commanded that he bring in two specific Tundras to him. Kopo agreed, leading the future Leaders Rigal and Erina into the Banescale's trap. He agreed, issuing a plan to steal supplies from the group the targets were in. Expectantly, a fierce star-marked Coatl began to chase him, and everyone else followed. By the time Kopo realized what he had been doing, it was too late. The vicious dragon was prepared to feast on everyone - Kopo included.

To Kopo's horror, the Banescale had betrayed him. Terrified of what was about to happen, the dragon hid away while the rest did all the fighting. He was impressed by how a mere Tundra, whose breed was considered to be far from the greatest thinker, could fight with the fierceness of a hundred Wildclaws. After the Banescale had been dealt with, though not defeated, the group introduced themselves to Kopo. The dragon finally understood why they fought so bravely - they were looking for a home, for much like him, they didn't have one.

The sheer daunting of what a single Tundra could do awakened a surge of emotions within Kopo. Remembering his dear friend, he begged Rigal and Erina to continue their journey with him, and they gladly agreed. His nimbleness and size eventually came in handy, rescuing the group from many traps and providing them with many narrow escapes. In return, the crew protected Kopo from all the things he found scary. Finally, when The Phantasms reached a place they could call their own, Erina offered Kopo a position of a seer, speaking for both Lightweaver, who granted them their grounds, and Shadowbinder, who Kopo had a natural connection to. Since then, Kopo has been one of The Phantasms' priests.

Although adolescence has been kind to Kopo, allowing him to bring out his more mischievous side of nature, he's still just as cowardly as he used to be. Despite that, he sometimes steals in an entirely compulsive nature, alerting everyone in the clan but always putting what he stole back. Despite all this, should The Phantasms be in immense danger, Kopo will no longer hesitate to fight or risk his life, albeit with a lot of screaming and a major adrenaline rush. He used to pester Rigal about finding his long lost friend so much that she finally showed up - though she was surprised to find how much Kopo has grown!
