The beautiful Aconitum that have made her fur their home, draw small amounts of energy from both Arliin and the sun, which allows them to continue to thrive even though they are no longer rooted into the soil. As she continues to grow, the flowers themselves with both grow and size and create new flower pods to fill in more of her coat to both further their own existence and to provide Arliin with continued protection even into adulthood. While having these poisonous flowers keeps her safe from any predator that wishes to make her a snack, they make it hard to befriend other's her own age. Many are scared that the flowers will harm them if they get close, but the flowers are only dangerous if the creature in question were to ingest one. Even when Arliin informs other hatchlings that she's safe, they still tend to shy away from her, leaving her to be lonely at times. ________________________________________ |
