Biography
- Should have Scene: Arcanist’s Domain. I’ll get it for her soon
- Her pearl is extremely weird for some reason and she doesn't say why
- Has a unique accent no one can quite place
- Sweet-tempered
- Reiptil's sweetheart… and they’re both kinda the only romantic dragons in pretty much my whole clan. I don’t like romance :/
- Poet

Nakai's Notes
Mana, unlike Talva(the Pearlcatcher who left the clan), is quite nice and... well, much more agreeable. She doesn’t talk very much, but when she does, she speaks with a light, lilting and unique accent. No one can quite place where it is from, and when asked about it, she shrugs and simply answers with, “I was born in the Starfall Isle.” Mana doesn’t let other dragons get too close to her pearl, although if you do manage to sneak a glance, it can be noticed that it seems especially reflective, and that strange, shifting shapes roll slowly across the surface. If you ask her about that, indeed, you will find the subject assuredly and quickly changed. The Pearlcatcher also likes to write poems, mainly about the beauty of nature and things like that. As you must know, every dragon growing up in the SilverSong Clan is required to learn at least some level of self-defense. Mana, however, being an adult, has managed to [mostly] opt out of this training. It is already known that she is quite talented as a magic-user. She seems to have an impressive way of working out all of the little problems / complications in a spell, leaving it all with an interesting... well, smoothness? It’s hard to explain. She has that special, refined touch, which makes me think she must have been educated in magic as a hatchling. Members of the SilverSong Clan often ask her to enchant little objects for them in exchange for some money, and they know the results will always be neat and flawless. Savaan’s water-tube is one such enchantment. She also has a special ability for grasping some of the most complex spells, likely due to her being Arcaneborn and again, if I had to guess, perhaps even a naturally magically-talented lineage/bloodline. The question remains if Mana knows any spells for combat. She doesn’t seem like the fighting sort. If she had to resort to physical combat for some reason, the Pearlcatcher could probably at least cluelessly stab a knife in a potential attacker’s general direction.

Mana’s Notebook
Owl Swift in silent flight, Fleeting shadow in the night, Resting in the light. He Shining verdant eyes, And a shy face caked with mud, Gifts to me a rose. Flower The wind blows The grass sways, The river flows, The sky’s a maze, The clouds darken, Small rocks fly, Hatchlings hearken, Stray feathers go by. The tall oak, so strong, so fair, Its great branches snap in the turbulent air, The thick brown bark now is marred, Underneath, the lighter wood even is scarred. The rain pours, The ground quakes, The tree bends, The earth shakes. And yet, through the haze, what is that I see? Indeed, a faint flutter of wings coming forward to meet me. “Who would be out in such weather?” I think, (Great concern filling my heart up to the brink), Until it dawns on me, yes, that in the haze, Only one dragon would pick this, the most dreary of days. Forward he flies, getting closer by the second, “Drenched, no doubt,” ruefully I reckon, With his small, shy smile and awkward gaze, His feathers shiver and his body sways, Bending down with the last of his power, Shakily, he drops by my claws a sweet smelling flower. ( I guess she really had a burst of inspiration during this one storm, huh... ) |
Storm The sky is angry, And the trees quiver in fear. Rain falls in torrents.
