Cael was amongst the first of the second generation of seraphim to come to creation, alongside the likes of Gabriel and the rest of their generational pantheon. Despite taking the form of a female, they found themselves balking at the thought of being called as such, and found solace in removing themselves from the business of the heavens to tend to their gardens and focus on their plants' wellbeing.
Considering how closely their creations were to one another, Gabriel and Cael bonded closely, much as the First had. Following the war in the heavens, the First destroying their Father and assuming the role of Goddess, peace fell amid the angels. Unspoken rules and laws fell lax around them- in part due to the roles of their elder siblings and their sacrifices.

Much as their gentle appearance suggests, Cael is a pacifist at heart, removing themselves from conflict or taking the role of mediator if they get in the way of a sibling squabble- something that doesn't often occur, but if it does, they aren't afraid of getting in the middle of it.
Still, if worst comes to worst, teary eyes are certainly the way to go.
