Amba

Uh-oh, looks like this spunky explorer wandered a little too far from her home lair #498524 - BoldEarth, and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

Amba is a fiery little pearlcatcher, determined to go and see something else besides rocks. Her sister Kaida did it, so why shouldn't she?

vervain, #32201 - Amba headed out from her rocky lair, heading for any scenery she hadn't seen before. Her goal soon took her to a beautiful shoreline of white sand and vibrant tidepools. The salty sea air gave her a renewed sense of energy, despite her long flight, and she spent a while exploring the expanse of the beach, collecting beautiful shells and snacking on the odd crab or crunchy starfish. While she explored, she ran into a mysterious musician who gave her some tasty snacks for her upcoming flight and let her play with his odd following of cats. Eager for her next adventure, Amba left the beach behind.

Gilnora, #138217 - Amba found the water flight to be rather wondrous. She didn't get far from the beach before finding another spectacular location, a grotto with water in a shade of blue she'd never seen before in nature. A fittingly vibrant snapper led her around a charming clan while being sure to avoid the scrappier parts. Amba was very grateful for his hospitality, however she soon found herself with clutch of eggs that would slow her down when her journey had only just begun. After much consideration, she handed them off to her snapper friend before setting off once more.

eli105, #503244 - Amba spent a little more time in the water flight before moving on. While in the Floating Town of Clan Driftisle, she spent time in the warrior's guild, and went with some of them on a few patrols to look for insects to catch.

VonGacy, #310038 - Right next to Water is Plague, and she spent a few weeks in a rather big city in the Southern wasteland. Any other dragon would have stayed in the safe-ish walls of the town, but she wanted to see the world! She convinced one of the guards to accompany her as she went exploring the boneyard, looking for treasure. She didn't find anything precious, but she collected some skulls with interesting shapes, and made them into a necklace.

Alligatorsight, #118679 - After leaving the Scarred Wastelands, Amba decided to fly across the Sea of 1,000 currents to see what was on the other side of the sea and ended up in the desert of Shifting Expanse. As she was looking for a place to settle, she came across a lightning fight clan called Alligator Clan. The clan had just been through a very bloody battle of a war and their capitol was in ruins. A castle stood with three of the four towers distroyed. Never less, the dragons were very nice and hospatable. She stayed in the Lightning Flight Embassy where there were nine other travelers, but none of them looked familiar.

grxndsxn, 437722 - Amba found herself in Crow Callers. When she settled into the Traveller's Lodge, a Spiral named Joaquin told her, "You remind me of a Fae that passed through here once."
"What was the Fae's name?" Amba asked.
"Kaida." Joaquin answered.
Amba was a little surprised. "She's my sister!" she told him.
"I should've figured, you two look so much alike." Joaquin told her.
"When was she here?" Amba asked.
"Very recently. You practically just missed her." Joaquin said. "I'll take you to Kaitaka, though - he had hatchlings with Kaida, and may know a thing or two."
Joaquin took Amba to meet Kaitaka. As Amba met Kaitaka, she discovered that he was actually a much nicer dragon than his appearance would lead you to believe.
"Ah, Quino!" Kaitaka said, upon seeing Joaquin; the two seemed to be fairly good friends. Kaitaka had a harsh and raspy voice, but was still easy to understand.
"This is Amba. She's Kaida's sister, and wants to ask about Kaida - do you remember her?" Joaquin asked.
"Ah, yes! Kaida's one of the most beautiful dragons I've ever met - and I can tell that you're her sister!" Kaitaka said.
"Do you know where she went?" Amba asked.
"Can't be sure exactly where, but it seems she went.. about that way." Kaitaka said, pointing north. "She took our oldest son along with her, too; the two other sons went in other directions. Maybe you'll get to meet your nephews some day."
"I hope I will!" Amba said. She thanked Joaquin and Kaitaka for their help, and began flying off. She planned to return to Crow Callers one day; maybe along with her sister and/or nephew(s).
