Helix

Helix is a Plague dragon originally - he was reared by a particularly vicious faction of the Obsidian Eidos that live in the Scarred Wasteland, most of whom swear their utmost allegiance to the Plaguebringer instead of the Shade or some other darkness or void-related entity or deity. This is particularly interesting and unusual for the Eidos, and Ava has been particularly astounded to learn of this faction and their history from Helix. At a young age, however, Helix knew in the core of his being that he was destined for something other than being 'just another Eido'. No one is sure exactly how he came to part with this faction and on what terms - and no one is sure how he met Perseia. What is clear, is that the two of them clearly know each other very well - in fact, to other mages and magic-adept dragons of the clan, it is clear they have engaged in some kind of mental melding ritual, and that they may in fact even share a "soul" (different dragons of the clan will tell you different things concerning what this actually means and how it works - or - would work).

Dragons of the clan have observed Helix to look up at the night sky, at the moon and the stars, to see the crystalline, celestial jewels reflected in his eyes shining fiercely bright - only for his eyes to glow with a darkness - so dark, that it seems to trap light in a way no other darkness could, like nothing they've ever seen before, a void so unlike any other they've known. Reflecting nothing at all, a darkness so dark that it's bright - and pulls you into itself - only for it to be gone again, as his eye line shifts from the stars..
