Uh-oh, looks like this questionably "rich" traveler wandered a little too far from their home lair (452562, Hyzenthlaay), and now they’re off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt them, we'd really appreciate it if you instead could just send them off in the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread. If you don't want another traveler in return, they can be sent to their original home via the Crossroads, or this rest hub.

You can also adopt them permanently if you don’t want them leaving your lair - just contact Hyzenthlaay and let her know (it’s good for her notes)!

Many people have worked very hard on this traveling dragon, and exalting them would be an absolute shame. Please don’t do it!

Experiment No. 4 probably had a name at some point, but it was lost to memory the moment that they were abandoned under mysterious circumstances on the top of Clan Mavenlark’s crystal spires. Hatchling abandonment is common in the city; with so many dergs moving in and out, there are bound to be a few parents a day, unable to look after and maintain their hatch, choosing the easier way out. Experiment No. 4 was no usual case, however - when they were found by Setsuna, a permanent member of Clan Mavenlark, they were battered, bruised, and close to death. Setsuna, out of options for healing such a severely injured hatchling, decided to rush them to the nearest brew pot and dump the hatchling whole into the mixture. It seems to have worked - Experiment is alive, after all. But now they only speak in chirps (which the bird beasts love, and the two tend to have extended conversations), are unusually small for their age, and sell...maybe...potions. They do have some sort of stall, and there are certainly potions brewing at said stall, but their preferred payment tends to be sort of cryptic. They outright refuse treasure and precious stones, the preferred currencies of choice among Sornieth, and instead accept items such as soft feathers, poems, and bits of pocket lint. What the potions actually do, too, is unknown. Effects vary from growing extra limbs to the ability to turn objects to gold to outright death. Some are brave enough to gamble their mixtures for the risk of reward...are you among them?

Axolotl had never quite met a dragon like this, which was saying something. They got many travelers here, but never one quite as strange as this. No one here minded it, of course, they liked the strange and bizarre. And the traveling dragons seemed to quite like the potions they got, although Ghostdrift, who used to be a fae, took one and got magically poofed into an Obelisk! It was an adventure having Experiment Number Four around, and everyone was a little sad to see them go.

Experiment spent most of their time with Baldwin while visiting Legacy Harbor. They enjoyed seeing what the materials turned into when coming out of the cauldron. After awhile they decided to move on to seek a new adventure.
