Diamond is a capricious little pearlcatcher that prefer to hear than to talk. Before Ella came to the clan, hers was the best pearl around, as she was more centered than Zanven, but now she had to hand it to Ella, her pearl was a art piece. Though maybe it wouldn't be handed any time soon, as both of them weren't too keen to talking to each other. As the most zealous dragon (available, as Ella was too fixed on the pearl to be available), Diamond was charged with the schedule of the nursery. She was the one to plan who was the next to have an offspring so the nests would have the best possible efficiency, including dragons other than family. It was a unforgiving jobs, mainly when she had to tell someone that they would have to wait a bit more. Diamond had a little bit of trouble with her looks. She had a blend coat, though she was almost what everyone was looking for... but she was sure one day she would have the perfect child and they would replace her. Until the day she found what she was looking for: the perfect skin that made her just that much prettier. Maybe she would need some tweaks here and there, but in a family of misfits, there wasn't really a need to be perfect, just loved by them all. And now, she finally had the confidence she was lacking, she wouldn't be leaving any time soon, the perfect child could come and go. Though she had always hanged around more with Zanven, that was only because she was the only other pearlcatcher around for quite sometime. There would also be Kendra, her mate, but she accepted him mainly for the perspective of the hatchlings, as did Zanven, so she didn't talk much with him. But then came Ella and Aztec. They weren't just pretty, their personalities were quite a match with Dia. As time went on, she saw her shackles to Zanven (and Bragi, since she usually invited herself in) start to crumble. Though Ella didn't want to talk to anybody (yet), Aztec was a fresh take for her. She wasn't looking for him as a pair (though he was pretty), but it didn't take long for their warm and calm personalities to make them best of friends. She didn't abandon Zanven, sure... but it wpuld never be the same anymore. |
