Formerly of the "Dragons Off to See the World" thread, CircusTent has since found her permanent home the second time she stopped in Crow Callers. Nowadays, she helps run the Traveller's Lodge.

Circus Tent is a performer through and through. If one were to take a cross-section of this dragon, it is not altogether impossible that she would spill rainbow scarves out of the wound. While her act of choice is juggling whatever can be (un)safely maneuvered through the air - currently, she's working on live hornet nests - she dabbles in a little bit of every circus and carnival performance that brings in audiences (and their wallets). Fortune telling, sword-swallowing, live fish regurgitation, strongman acts, whip tricks...Circus Tent has tried to all, to large success. She has absolutely no capacity for environmental magics, but that seems to have only increased her talent for dexterity, balance, and physical performance. Got any requests for a show? Circus Tent will do just about anything in front of a crowd.

(Record Circus Tent's experiences in your clan below!)

3/31/2020, hyzenthlaay: Closed out my final show in Clan Mavenlark today to a raving audience! I'm tempted to stay here for longer, considering how many dragons I'm drawing out, but I find it a bit stifling to my creativity to be in one venue for too long. So long, Mavenlark! I'm sure our paths will cross again soon!

4/2/2020, APlaceInSpace: I was looking a challenge, so I decided to put on a performance in the Ashfall Wastes! This was a terrible idea in retrospect. I travelled for days before I was able to find anyone to perform to, and even then the Guardian in charge seemed like such a grump! He explained that this was a rescue for lost or abandoned Banescales, not an "unruly circus nightmare", how boring!
Thankfully one of the banescales butted in and said it might be nice for the poor souls in the shelter to have some entertainment that was out of the ordinary. I have to admit, it ended up being one of my best performances yet. The cheers (and the tips) were some of the largest I've ever got! I juggled, I swallowed swords, I showed off feats of strength, and the crowd loved every minute of it!
They might not have been willing to accept me to start with, but by the end they were begging me to stay! I couldn't stay for too long though, maybe I'll come back here some day, but for now I the road ahead calls my name!

4/6/2020, Ecliptique: After how successful my last show turned out, I couldn't wait to get back on the stage and perform again. This time I found a clan in the Sunbeam Ruins. They were very welcoming to me and I was just setting up to perform for them when it suddenly hit me how tired I was. I guess great circus performers such as myself also need to take breaks sometimes. Upon disclosing my need for rest, the clan was disappointed (as they should be; it is a shame to miss out on my tricks) but they were also very understanding and allowed me to take some time off and just simply hang out with them. They even allowed me to take a companion with me—a pitfall fixture—and I'm sure we will get along just fine. We could even perform together since it seems like it could be useful for swinging across the stage!

4/8/2020, KingVulture: I was ready for another change in scenery, and this time found a clan on the verge of the Scarred Wasteland and Tangled Wood - it seemed like a triple threat. Not only was it a place I'd never been to, but I've heard the dragons in both those regions can be dangerous. But surprisingly, I was welcomed in and given a place to stay. I got to meet other travellers that were staying in this clan for a period of time. The dragons were an excellent audience, and one of them even asked me to be his mate. I didn't come here to find love and wasn't even sure what love was like, but he seemed like he was a nice dragon, so I accepted. He gave me a corsage made of violets, and I decided to keep it. Mathwin offered to help me with my performances - apparently, he's always wanted to be a performer.
One of my travelling friends left to find a new place to stay, and I suppose it's almost time for me to do that as well... I almost don't want to go. This has been one of the best audiences I've ever had, and I even found a mate - but on the way out, I promised Mathwin that I'd return one day!

4/24/20, sgerj: After leaving the edge of the Tangled Wood, I found a Mirror teaching her apprentice how to make a 'tornado of jewelry-lights'. Although it wasn't executed very well, I found myself inspired and swore to include some pyrotechnics in my next show. Soon I got hit square in the head by one of the jewelry-lights. They came over to apologize, explaining that they were scrambling to prepare festivities for a relic-festival in their home clan. This was the perfect opportunity for me to step in! I introduced myself, offering a gutsy performance for the coming night, and the Mirrors were totally on board! They led me to their lair through a portal hidden in the sunlight. They called it the Blinking Miasma.

The older dragon had a very relaxed, fun air about her. I soon learned her name was Galamore, and that she was an object-enchanter. Her apprentice Saltaure was similar-natured. We had a lot in common, so bunking in with them turned out to be a blast! With approval from the clan leader, I got to help them develop a set of stardust fireworks. I spent the rest of my days leading up to the festival familiarizing myself with this exotic landscape. I even got to meet another performer, and may have accidentally become his rival! Whoops, but that's alright! Eventually the night of the festival came, and I joined the others for a blockbuster show! Spirits were high, and everyone had a wild good time. I messed up a little when I transitioned from the flame-ribbon dance to the firework juggling, but the audience still raved and cheered a lot! I wanted to give these folk a next-night encore, but I got an invitation letter to see my daughter Cornelia perform a show for the first time. There's no way I can miss that! Hopefully I'll return to the Miasma soon!

4/25/20-Alligatorsight: Alligator Clan is a Lightning Flight clan located in the desert of Shifting Expanse. My first day, I checked in I was given a standard of the windsinger and I got to stay in the Lightning Flight Embassy. My room had a window view of the castle and the room was first class all the way. The food was great and the room was nice and cozy. A few hours before the concert, I decided to head to the castle. The stage was on the top. In the hallway leading up to the top there was a picture on the wall of every dragon that lived in Alligator Clan including visitors like me. I requested that my picture be placed next to my daughter's and I was lucky enough to witness the hanging of my picture. My seat was front stage and I would get a up close view.

That night when the sun went down, the lights came on. Above the stage the emblem of each of the 11 flight lit up. In the back ground was a huge picture of a really fine looking ridgeback whom I figured had to be my daughter. Last time I saw her, she was a baby. When the opening band was finished, the lead singer (I think his name was GenieofWishes) introduced my daughter and Cornelia came on stage. The crowd went crazy and the light show was just begining. "Alright Alligator Clan are your READY TO ROCKK?" The crowd just loved her. She sung a song called "Moving On" My favorite part of the performance was when she hovered over the crowd and gave low fives to her fans. I tried to get her attention, but the crowd was so large, I don't think she recognized me.

The day after the performance, Got to meet up with Cornelia in the Lightning Flight Embassy. She was staying two floors below me. The next few days in Alligator Clan, I had lunch with my daughter every day and I got to hand out a few business cards hoping to pick up a contract or two, but I seemed to be getting more publicity as Cornelia's mother. Over the next few days Cornelia and I talked about going on our next adventure together, but travelers getting a deal like that was not something you could count on because some liars will only take one at a time. Alligator Clan was one of the exceptions because they have lots of liar space and territory, definitely a clan of wealth. Cornelia was use to be in the spot light and I know what it is like to be turned down for a contract. As long as Cornelia had GeneOfWishes as her mananger, she could get contracts, but the bogsneak will not be with her forever. Neither will I.

????, Shikokudarkstar: Upon arriving in the clan of Markuv, I spotted many colorful dragons. Most of them were mated off but a few were single. I didn't see anything to suit my fancy and while the clan seemed to enjoy my shows....I knew this wasn't my place to stay. I decided after only staying a few days that I was going to blow this popsicle stand. I took Cornelia with me and we hit the road again.

6/7/2020, KingVulture: After a while of travelling, I've made it back to Crow Callers, finally reuniting with the love of my life, and even my son in law! This time, I've decided to live here, helping run the Traveller's Lodge. Even though I enjoyed the thrill of travelling Sornieth, I'm glad to finally reunite with the clan I love!

@Hyzenthlaay here! This dragon is officially a part of the "Around the World in 365 Dergs" challenge. Check out the thread for information and more travelers like this! ...or just read the following:
  • The general idea is that I am going to create 365 unique traveling dragons, send them off into the world, and see what happens. I'm also going to complete mini-challenges along the way using travelers. If that interests you, consider checking the challenge thread out!
  • I don't want to overflood the system with just my dragons, so adopting travelers from me to live in your lair is totally fine! In fact, I'm betting on it. Just let me know.
  • Always feel free to tell me when you have this dragon in your lair! I love hearing updates.
