______ Chorong is unique in that she wasn't born, but rather created. And sort of... by accident. Hyeoljang was experimenting with various alchemical properties, a boom happened, and there stood a small hatchling. He inquired about it with other alchemists, and they informed him he had created a homunculus. A supercharged one, at that. One that was bound to be unstable, face destruction, and should probably just be discarded before she ruined the clan.

Hyeoljang didn't like that. So instead, he made her a device that helped her to control her magic, and treated her with love, and so far, it seems to be working. When Wonbyeol joined the clan, she seemed to really take to him. When Wonbyeol responded to her kindly, Hyeoljang told her she should stay with him and keep him company.

So she did. Chorong is learning to act more like a dragon as she stays with Wonbyeol, and they've formed a good friendship. Although she is starting to realize she is not a normal dragon, she isn't particularly upset by this like most homunculi would be - after all, her best friend isn't exactly "normal" either.
