The earth clings to his fur and spines, falling silently with each step he takes. No breath escapes his lungs, and no living being escapes his ominous gaze. Cedu is not a violent creature; the small birds and mice are not afraid to perch on his feet and back when he lies on the ground, unmoving.

But woe to those who would trespass on the graves, on the sacred ground that holds many empty shells and some spirits that cling to the earth with ever-weaker grips. He defends them in their frailty and will send any who disturb them into the same restless sleep that he will suffer for eternity.
