When Verity was young, he was expected to become the next Seraphim that would receive the word of the Lightweaver. However, his small body was pushed far too hard and his powers, not yet fully developed, nearly broke him from the inside out. Verity's scales still shimmer with the remnants of his limit breaking, and thus Verity rarely uses his gifts and has since refused the position of a preist. He prefers the humble, quiet life of a temple keeper, with the occasional side quest of animal caretaker.
