Former Arcane Dom Leader AKA Pixel Dragon War General Clan of the Purple Embers

The story is different according who tells it. If you can get Alanna to tell how the clan came to be she will tell you that one night she was wandering around looking for something to fight, desperate to prove herself to her family. And settled down for the evening, as it was a chilly evening Alanna made a small fire. To her great shock the embers did glow as ember always glow, but with a low purple glimmer. She was so distracted by the odd sight that she didn’t hear the mirror dragon come up from behind her. When the dragon came into view she leaped to attack but fell on the strange embers instead, forever staining her claws the same purple. And the mirror decided that it didn’t want to go because the mirror in question is a jerk. Alanna always ends the story here, looking over at the now Skydancer harshly and leave before she might become inundated with questions.

The Skydancer is more willing to tell stories, but prefers to leave such things to the Helga and Norrel. The origin story is the one exception that is always guaranteed. In Philips mirror days he became separated from the herd and was desperately running to get back to the only world he knew and never desired to leave. He made a very wrong turn and ended up in the Starfall Isles. It was here one night he came across a substantially smaller dragon puzzling over something in the fire pit. Experiencing a new emotion he had no name for he went slowly over to see what had captured the Fae so. She screamed as soon as she became aware of his presence. He might have laughed except that she fell forward into the purple embers. Without thinking Philip reached forward and scooped the little dragon out. He stayed and watched over her through the night feeling another new emotion. The next day Philip found that he no longer wanted to run. The first thing he did was to string the one ember that Alanna had brought with her in the scuffle the night before, on to a cord. Alanna wears the ember which still glows every so subtlety nearly two years later. This is when Philip will shrug and say that was when the rest simply fell into place.

Helga will tell you that it was not as simple as Philip would have to believe. The clan focuses on aiding as many dragons as possible to their dreams of Exaltation. Helga herself is in charge of watching over the hatchlings and homing dragons that come when they are of age. Rowena takes care of all book learning that hatchlings receive. After all most of them go to the Observatory to aid the Arcanist. And such can be an intellectual challenge. But all dragons that leave Rowena’s tutelage never had any difficulty there. Godric takes the hatchlings out on daily excursions, looking for food for the clan or other strange little trinkets. A little real world experience as he likes to call it. Salazar has taken it upon himself to make sure that Godric’s crass influence has no lingering effects. Once a dragon “graduates” from the education that the four attempt to impart onto the scholars. They are given to a trainer, so they can experience battle in the safest environment possible. Sometimes Philip and Faithful take the scholars out individually. But lately Sadon has been taking out two scholars at once. When it is time Alanna tells the scholars to go and tell the Arcanist that the Clan of the Purple Embers is proud to send more properly trained scholars.

Pheo is a cinnabunny that has a soft gushy center and a fluffy outer shell that's soft as velvet. But on top of that fluffy shell there's a hard armor made of sarcasm and hardened caramel. It's sweet but will crush your teeth if you try to bite the wrong way. Also Pheo's mine and that's the really tough outer shell made of love, so if you mess with her and hurt her, you'll have to deal with me and no one wants that because I'm not soft and sweet, I'm the bite to her bark. Overall Pheo is a darling love and needs to be protected but can also protect herself. ~from darling wife Impception just a little longer than the rest
