The Day's End Clan once resided in a particularly beautiful area of the Mirrorlight Promenade. It was a perfect place to live, except for the two enormously powerful, aggressive clans that occupied the same exact territory. Fortunately, the first of these clans was only awake in the morning and afternoon, and the second was only active through the night. This gave the clan roughly two hours a day to leave their hidden underground caves and enjoy the waning sunlight. Totally worth it.

However, most of the clan didn't like being cooped up for twenty-two hours a day, so they insisted on moving to a larger area that didn't have so many complicated problems. Rhodon, the clan's matriarch, led them to the Hewn City, where monsters prowl the darkness and mysteries inspire the youths to do crime and stuff. Their new problems were numerous and uncomplicated.

After several years and at Rhodon's insistence, the clan moved to the Emperor's Wake. Their practiced ability to dodge and hide from larger dragons has (mostly) paid dividends and (almost) never gotten anyone severely injured.
