- - - - Born of stars, thunder, and stone; molds a clan of the lesser known. Eleven from two, the stars don't align; this story is theirs, ours, and…mine.

Fractured, shattered remains of a brilliant asteroid streaked across the sky. Illuminated in the onslaught, the gazers of the Observatory watched in awe and horror as the alien stones of the cosmos rained down from the heavens. Clans as far as the crystalline reaches emerged from their aura-filled lairs to watch the starlit spectacle, whilst meteors crashed into the floating islands surround them. The sky was on fire; the Arcanist did nothing.

But everything seemed to fade into existence when the stars shifted. No one seemed to notice: the astronomers below had their pupils glued to the firework display and the reigning deity drowned his ears in his new enchantments. Amidst the obscurity, a young guardian stared up to the highest point of the observatory and screamed in horror. The Arcanist's eye flinched, his enchantments ceased; the constellations shifted left, and the sky bent inward..

A great monolith of glistening stone pierced the heavens, with remnants of its magnitude trailing alongside. Raziel ran out of the Observatory, clutching her fae mate Vanial in her pocket. The Arcanist remained noiseless and still. Outside, Raziel and millions of Arcanites watched in disbelief as the veil of clouds illuminated over the flight, and the clouds gave way the cosmic giant. The cool, night air now singed scales, warping the mystical energies of the surrounding land. The worst though-was the impact.

The earth groaned and the quilt of starlight was burned away…the sky shone starless. Winds whipped and whirled, sending smaller clans retreating in stampedes back to their lairs, leaving others at the mercy of the gales. Raziel shoved Vanial further into her coat pocket, shielding each other with her wings. Through a squinted eye, she gazed out across the flight. A crack fractured the ethereal plane from the sea, forking inland toward the sinking asteroid. An orb of runic and astral aura manifested on contact with the behemoth stone, echoing the sounds of the cosmos. The Arcanist still said nothing. Raziel closed her eyes as screams of drakes young and old raced pass her.

The silence was more terrifying, though. Her eyes opened to find herself at the center of the enchanted orb. Confusion was an understatement. But the sight of the Arcanist overshadowed her mind. Neither spoke as the deity lifted a claw. A faint, pink orb containing a small dragon floated from behind his crest, and down to Raziel. She gasped, distraught upon realizing it was Vanial, alive but unconscious. The guardian leapt to grab him, but the orb pulled back. She looked at the Arcanist. "GIVE HIM TO ME! He needs help!" she exclaimed, tears streaking her cheek.

The deity's monotone expression never yielded, nor did his maw. "He does. But so does this flight…why do you hinder your power?"

Raziel growled, "What do you want from me!? Why do you hinder yours?"

"I have no sorrow for the imminent destruction around us, Raziel. And your sly wit won't move stone. If you want to save your mate and live, i suggest you take this throne."

The Arcanist snapped his claws and eleven doors of portals appeared around the orb, each leading to another world. "From these portals mold your charge, and I'll promise this asteroid won't barge. All eleven, hear me out, no more or less about. Strike the arrow, thunder has spoken, claim your clan or else our deal is broken…"
