Clan of the Citrine Vein

Situated along a unique vein of citrine quartz that has remained remarkably undisturbed by the tectonic activity that surrounds it, the Clan of the Citrine Vein is led by a brightly coloured, crystal-furred matriarch by the name of Razi. Rumour has it that Razi herself was born of the vein around which she has carved out her clan's territories, but should you ask her, she'll simply laugh, her coat shimmering with the same distinct colours as the citrine beneath her feet, and dismiss it as just that—a rumour.

The clan is home to a wide variety of dragons with their own unique peculiarities, though by far the weirdest are those who come from the lineage of Naomi.

What begun with Razi welcoming two such dragons from the allied clan, the Syzygy, of the Tangled Woods quickly became a family affair; soon, three sisters joined the clan, one by one, and after them, more and more of their kin seemed to gravitate towards the territory of the Clan of the Citrine Vein. The powers they possessed only seemed to become more intense with every new arrival.

So it was little surprise to Razi, or the other members of the clan, when a grandchild of Naomi and Ignis eventually stumbled onto the vein, in need of a welcoming home. They brought with them a message from the Syzygy and five hatchlings, four of whom would eventually leave on a journey of their own.

With Pariah came connections to the clans of some of their siblings, and with that came more of their kin. The Clan of the Citrine Vein is known as a safe haven for all those of Naomi's lineage and beyond.

Much more recently, another portion of the same crystal vein was uncovered in the Sunbeam Ruins, near the Moonportal, that is now run by its own crystalline matriarch, Ratna. Young and inexperienced, there are... growing pains, that those in the main clan are doing their best to assist with.
