You step foot through the black iron gates that surrounded what seemed to be a small settling. You wondered why there were gates but didn't ponder too much as you continued on. It was dark, it was night, and yet here you were wandering through an unknown place. There was a snarl behind you. You whirled around. You were met with orange eyes that glowed in the dark. You didn't need any further reason to hightail it out of there. The faster you ran the more thundering steps seemed to follow. You dove into a nearby alley and your hunters seemed run right past you. You took a heaving breath and continued through the alley, seeing more complex alleyways, a vast valley, and another part of the town that seemed to be completely cast into darkness. Up ahead was an extremely intimidating church that sent shivers down your spine. What was this place?
