If you follow along the edge of the Carrion Canyon, you will eventually come across a peculiar sight; an uneven section where some sort of fault in the rock caused one side of the Canyon’s edge to sink down, exposing an underground “pipe.” This subterranean water pump was one of many siphoning fresh water from the Sunbeam Ruins to the north but now formed a small waterfall which has slowly eroded the rock into a large pool that leaks into the caverns below. This pool of water has formed a refuge for many plants and animals with numerous trees precariously draped over the sheer cliff face, scattered and undulated roots, tightly knitting the vegetation in place. When the breeze rolls through the Canyon, an eerie howl can be heard as the air passes through the trees. You notice the tightly shut, heavy, industrial door near the little waterfall with an enormous offline golem snugly tucked into his charging dock within the wall next to the door. Along with the numerous spires and cables that seemingly vanish underground, it’s obvious the area has been claimed.
