You're not supposed to be here. Logically, no one should be here. These are the wastelands. There's bones and carcasses and rot and decay everywhere. This is an uninhabitable place.

And yet, despite everyone's warnings, you came here. Despite the stench, the constant, nauseating cloud that seems to be hanging over every single thing here, you haven't turned tail and headed back home. You're not going to, either. Vernichtung is a name that's only whispered of, and it's never good. Savages. Murderers. Monsters. Those are words all thrown around when this clan is mentioned. And you wanted to see if the rumors were true.

The area where they're supposed to be is... unassuming, to say the least. It looks pristine, almost out of place. You do notice, however, that the areas surrounding the clan's territory are especially ravaged. There's skeletons. Vultures are picking at some of the ones that still have a little bit of rotten meat on them. There's still the chance to turn and run. But you don't.

"Welcome, child." The voice that greets you is sweet. "Are you lost? Are you hungry?" You look around, your gaze eventually meeting with a Skydancer. Her blue eyes stare at you from underneath a reddish wolf cape, and her beautiful, white pelt is stained with red. "What brings you here?"

"I... wanted to see if the rumors were true," you reply. "If you're all truly as bad as they say."

The Skydancer chuckles, adjusting her wings before she stands.

"My dear, come and see for yourself. I just hope you understand that this is our life." The flash of sharp, bloodstained teeth alarms you slightly. "Follow."

Stopping by to say that I hatched Rylese a while back and I'm glad she's found a good home! I was going through a list of special-eyed dragons I've hatched and was pleasantly surprised to see her not exalted.
