Additionally, from Old Greek roots, its meaning is dawn, land to the east. In Greek mythology, Eos was the personified goddess of dawn, the equivalent of the Roman Aurora.

Born on a fortuitous day - the start of the 2015 Crystalline Gala

First born daughter of the deputy of the Clan of Frost and Clouds, Eolande hails from a newer clan in the Frigid Floes (Fateless #128295). Her mother is a wise and respected adviser to the clan leader, and her father was a recent addition to the clan and bonded quickly with her mother. On both sides of her family, she can trace her lineage back to the early days of dragons inhabiting the world.

Like many female Skydancers in the clan, she has a streak of vanity and insists on fancy adornments. However, she also thirsts for adventure and decided to join a new clan at an early age. She ventured deep in the heart of The Southern Icefield to join Clan Diamond Dust, arriving at the start of the 2015 Gala events. She quickly made herself at home in the tribe and enjoys her new role as an artisan, making specialized crafts for the clan.
