Jenara's been a member of the clan since its early weeks (from clan kannadono, #17047). Very vain, she adorns herself with silks and gems. She sometimes seems absentminded, although she prefers to think of it as "mystical."

The clan questions her abilities as a seer, since she's a Shadow dragon (a trickster) not a Water dragon (who have a greater tendency to be born with divination ability than other flights). However, she maintains her "abilities" are real and tends to make vague predictions that generally can be interpreted as coming true. Every now and then, she falls into a trance and utters an extremely detailed and precise prediction that inevitably occurs. (There's some still some question among clan members whether this is her ability as a seer or as a trickster.) Since she doesn't really do much harm, the clan leaders have decided to let her continue practicing her fortunetelling. Although they secretly wish that she would choose a more productive profession, they prefer her busy and staying out of trouble.

She hopes to run a fortunetelling booth at next year's Crystalline Gala, but the clan has not yet approved.

During the 2015 Trickmurk Circus, Jenara was the clan representative who participated in the Trickmurk Pinecone Hunt in The Tangled Wood. By using her abilities (unclear as to whether that's her abilities as a seer or as a gamer), she secured 2nd place for the clan with 59/78 points.




Instead of getting to run a soothsaying booth, to keep her busy, Jenara is one of two announcers for the annual Sornieth Winter Games that takes place during the Crystalline Gala. Although sometimes she likes to predict the weather - or potential winners - she does a very good job of hosting and sharing important information to participants and the audience.

During the 2021 Crystalline Gala, Jenara took full advantage of the hygge-related activities, including relaxing in the pillow palaces and sipping warming tea in between announcing duties.

2015 Trickmurk Parade:

During her visit to the festival, Jenara had the chance to catch the exhilarating and amazing parade put on by Shadow flight.

Jenara looked at the enormous crowd gathered for the seemingly never-ending parade. Some of her clan mates had attended a few days earlier and brought back stories of the wondrous sights and sounds of the celebration. She had eagerly waited her turn to attend the festival, and now it her first chance to experience her birth flight's festival. She was planning on soaking up every minute of it!

Jenara stopped by one of the stalls and purchased a honey-dipped bugs-on-sticks, savoring its sweetness as she moved passed the booths. Then, finally, a glimpse of some dancers and then acrobats! She made her way through the crowd, aiming for a spot closer to the front. Magical bursts of light caught her attention and then - there - imperials with illusions! She felt a kinship to the dragon performing and couldn't take her eyes off the parade.

The bright skydancer draws the eye - Mania turns to grin at her before tossing a favor into the crowd.

The Skydancer took the favors she collected at the parade back to her tribe - once they acquired a poet or performer, the Poet's Tam would be perfect for him or her and the other goodies would help their stores. In fact, the Fossilize was in high demand at Swipp's Swap Stand. What a wonderful parade! Jenara loved the 2015 Trickmurk Circus and looked forwarded to attending the next one.

Jenara participated in Boardwalk Bragging and got 21/22 correct! The only one who tricked her was the handsome scarred Skydancer Azriel from Alaia's clan. She tied for first with the dragons from Canisa & clarax's clans.
