Balam

Balam is intrigued by the throws of power, politics, and clan machinations. He is known for being charismatic, shrewd, persuasive, and subtle. During diplomatic ventures he observes the host clan with sharp eyes and collects secrets and strings to gently pull for his clan's favor and there is nothing short he won't do to achieve the goals set before him.

Among his flaws is his egotistical arrogance, concerning his "golden" tongue and his illustrious and royal beauty which he has used to his advantage. He is not shy nor holds any reservations about bedding the right figures in a clan to levy his influence, albeit, so long as they do not have a mate to anger.

Despite having a "mate," Balam holds no love for her. To him she is simply a courtesan to provide offspring of equal physical grandeur in a rare bloodline. He is more inclined to male partners but that won't stop him from giving a prominent female dragon a memorable night to remember, so long as he benefits from the arrangement in some manner.

As an Envenomed Jaguar, Balam demonstrates many prominent behavioral and physical traits of the species. However, he does not actively engage in combat or the hunt, two aspects well known of the agile and cunning species in which they excel above mundane Imperials. He does excel however in the use of magic and the arcane, a not so common trait of the breed. Balam actually frowns upon conflict and actively seeks to avoid any form of combat as he doesn't want his pristine hide to be marred... But think not that he not well suited for battle, for he has trained himself to be a target not easily hit while delivering deadly magical blows. From afar of course.
