RoseFire
Healer
Headstrong | Caring | Loyal

RoseFire was born to a Shadow Clan with a knack for botany. Their crude greenhouses grew plants not native to the Tangled Wood, like those found in the Viridian Labyrinth and Ashfall Waste. Their clan was one of collectors of seeds and rare plants. This was because their leader from originally from Nature. He had only come into inheritance of the clan because their previous leader had moved on. Not wanting to move the clan entirely, he brought the plants he loved as a hatchling to the clan.

All sorts of vines, flowers, thorny things, and unique things grew in the three greenhouses. The houses were great source of entertainment and knowledge for all members of the clan. Their leader was just and fair, although he was quick to anger if someone harmed a plant (intentionally or not). But the hatclings learned the ways of the greenhouses quickly, and had a respect for the plants like their elders did.

RoseFire herself was named for the pink roses that grew in the greenhouses. Their blooms were pale pink, but the edges were rimmed with a color like fire. It was her mother’s favorite plant, and so she named her daughter after it. The little hatchling loved her name, and grew to be like the rose.

She was headstrong, like fire when it was determined to destroy a village. Her sweetness was like the fragrance of the rose; her caring nature evoked from her need to be gentle with the roses when cultivating them. Her loyalty came from her mother, who was loyal to the clan to a fault. RoseFire had a good head on her shoulders from a young age, and she had a certain fondness for the plants in the greenhouse that she fostered from a young age.

However, the Shadow Clan she belonged to was quickly filling up with elders who couldn’t find another clan to belong to. RoseFire volunteered to find a new clan, one where she wouldn’t be taking up space that the elders needed. She took off for a land of green, but ended up mixed up. Her sense of direction had been terrible all her life. While she had headed for the Viridian Labyrinth, the territory her leader spoke of, she ended up in the Scarred Wasteland.

The land was not at all what she expected to find. Desolation unlike anything she’d seen in the Tangled Woods awaited her. Disease roamed the land, but the dragons here didn’t mind it. With time she got used to it, and learned that there were certain things that could grow in the scarred soils. The Wasteland wasn’t really that bad, so long as you don’t mind the smell that sometimes wafts about.

In her time in the Wasteland RoseFire discovered a clan that she discovered. There was a disease spreading through their hatchlings, and there was nothing the clan could do to save them. With her knowledge of herbs, and her small collection of plants she kept from her previous clan, RoseFire was able to help them. She became a Healer for the clan, able to cure (or at least lessen the effects of) most diseases that were hard for the young to fight off. She even got to make her own greenhouse to help her in her quests to save young lives.

In her new clan she met her mate Sunburst, a strangely brave Coatl. He was new to the clan shortly after she was. He was trying to start anew, and RoseFire knew she could help. So she did, and their relationship grew. She gave him a ring as her promise to him to aid him in his quest. They even had a daughter together, whom she loves with all her heart.
