This entity was discovered in 1971 during a spatial anomaly in a town called ***** **** in ******* Canada. Residents were panicked when on a clear night the stars disappeared from view, only the moon remaining visible. A sizable warehouse seemed to have also appeared out of nowhere in a nearby field. When an extraction team were sent to investigate the interior nothing was found save for the entity within. Entity on first inspection appeared to be an autonomous bipedal humanoid figure with a bird like appearance. On closer inspection the entity seems to be an actual full-bodied puppet with cartoonish traits. Nothing remarkable save for its disturbingly detailed eyes and a tag tied around its arm which simply reads "Large Avian Friend." Phase 1: Upon containment the listlessly moving entity known as L.A.F. will stop it's motions entirely and stay standing, staring blankly ahead. Entity will remain in such a state unless it is able to procure a living adult. It has quickly learned it requires adults over younger targets if it wants to prolong the affects in Phase 3. Phase 2: The entity seems to be capable of luring people to it despite the warnings all around it's containment unit, and the mental training undergone by those in charge of it. Higher class guards and scientists who are responsible for L.A.F. are to be monitored closely. A keycard is required to enter the unit though the entity has attempted to force those affected through the walls of its containment. If a lure is successful it will split open and reveal its interior of fathomless flesh with short, twitching tendrils. It will latch onto the adult human and pull them inside, forming around them and closing over the distressed captive. Extraction of the target or elimination is mandated. Phase 3 If extraction or elimination of the human is not completed before L.A.F. seals itself once more, the final phase will commence. L.A.F. becomes incredibly dangerous at this time, capable of manipulating it's captive through theorized means of torture, or possible parasitic influence. It responds past the peak of human ability, able to continue running for far longer than any human on record is capable of executing without extreme fatigue and inability to continue. L.A.F. will attempt to gain release from this facility by excessive strength and mental manipulation. Attempts to damage L.A.F. in such a state are met with injury which quickly grows over with flesh before the bright yellow feathers of it's false form regrow. In such a state the only option is to continue damaging it to slow it, waiting for it to revert to Phase 1 when the victim has been fully used up. Phase 1.5: If L.A.F. is contained without it being able to obtain a victim for at least four years, it loses its ability to keep its false form. In such instances no one is allowed to look into its containment unless they have prior experience of monitoring entities with visually horrifying forms. Insanity has resulted in 2 of 5 monitoring workers. |
