"A Wandering Minstrel, I"
x50
While it's true that faes normally speak in a monotone, with careful training and practice, they can learn to sing. Philip is an accomplished tunesmith, beloved by all. A favorite part of any party is his Serenade to the Guest(s) of Honor, where he sings verses specially tailored to each dragon, to a lively tune, everybody gives a cheer, and a good time is had by all.

There's a tale about Philip and his familiar, a comedy of errors. Listen, my children, and you shall hear:
When PhilipPhillip, the Bard of Good Vibrations, decided to take on a permanent companion, he went to the Menagerie Keeper, to see what familiars might be available. Woollybear was glad to help--but Woollybear has a deep, rumbling voice that can be hard for some dragons to understand. When he said, "An' we have a Poultrygeist," Philip misheard and thought he said "Poetrygeist". With visions dancing in his head of a muse that would stay by his side forever and help him compose sublime verses for every occasion, "Yes! That's the one!" he said. "I'll adopt that one!"
Imagine his shock when he saw a transparent turkey waddling out to meet him! But, being too proud to admit to such a silly mistake, and not wanting to hurt the poor bird's feelings, he swallowed his misgivings and took it home. Time passed, and the two grew closer. Philip became used to the ghostly gobbling that echoed through his den, and even found it useful when Halloween time came around. (The ghost stories he tells are very popular with the rest of the clan; they say they've never had more fun being scared! Philip just smiles. He knows who he has to thank for that.)
Now the two are fully bonded, and no one can come between them, either alive or dead!
